We stayed in the 'gardens' of the Vila Sol hotel. The hotel has 2/3? floors with rooms above the lobby. The rest of the rooms are in the gardens near the outdoor swimming pool. Nice rooms, good wifi on the entire grounds, big bathroom with nice shower/bath. Beds were made every day, great service. Breakfast is great, so much choices from fresh fruit to all sorts of bread/treats and/or warm options like English breakfast or an omelet. A bit of amusement near the lobby with air hockey/pooltable/.... It is right next to the Vila Sol golf course and at least 5 other golfcourses within 15 min drive. Its a 5-10 min drive to the centre of Villamoura which has loads of restaurants. We had a pleasant stay at the hotel.
