This golf course needs proper bathrooms placed conveniently around the course. Right now the bathroom facilities are terrible. The single toilet that is in use for three different holes and does not have separate Mens/Womens restrooms is absolutely ridiculous. Management should ashamed of the current facilities. If it were up to me I'd fire whoever let it get to this state.

3rd time playing here and it remains a very friendly club. The course has a lot of trees that make it tricky. There is a lot of investment and work going on at the course including thinning out the trees which is a little disruptive but it is very clear it is going to benefit the course hugely.

We always play the yellow markers at Pinhal but on this occasion there wasn't much difference on a lot of the holes between them and the back markers. A bit dissapointing. Other than that the course was in reasonable condition.

For the higher prices now for greenfees from Vilamoura Golf they have to deliver quality on all things! The buggieroads at Pinhal is a disaster as always been before.
And we don't see any improvements on the course in general so far. But the service in the reception/shop/buggieguys and restaurant is excellent as always! We have played Pinhal many times so we know what we are talking about. The higher prices for greenfees on all former Dom Pedro courses are thinkable! Because you always expect what you pay for.

Always enjoy Pinhal despite it playing quite long and challenging - and that's from a 7 HC player who's not too short off the tee. The course condition was very good with a great variety of hole layouts. The challenges come from pine trees in the middle of one or two fairways, or jutting out into a few fairways, and then the greens are very small making it difficult to hit them. If you're on holiday, and not worried about playing to your handicap, go enjoy Pinhal with your buddies or other half!

Great days golf at just under £100 each. ( we didn’t hire buggies - quite a few walks between holes so if you are not up for this then hire them. Pretty flat mainly apart from 2 par 5s uphill).

Interesting/challenging (lots of stone pine trees) course in great condition. Small greens (in good condition and running nice and quickly) are an interesting and different challenge. Excellent pace of play (3hrs), although there were just the two of us and we were first out before a big storm.

Enjoyed the golf course very much. My wife and I are here from Canada for a week and this is our first game ever in Portugal. The large pine trees lining the course framed the fairways beautifully and provided lots of challenges. The greens weren’t super fast but they rolled very true. For a course of this length the greens were relatively small. The green on 10 was crazy small but it was really pretty cool. Overall a fun round!

Dom Pedro are Increasing rates for Golf again at Vilamoura. 264€ in 2025 for Old Course excluding buggy. !!!! Regular Vilamoura Golfers are looking elsewhere (Spain) which was clearly visible in Vilamoura during October .

Haven't played Pinhal for a number of years although we have been golfing annually in the Algarve since 2006. A tight course with many tough holes. Even with a good drive you can be blocked out by the dense overhanging trees. Many of our party found it too hard but still enjoyed the experience. The course was in excellent condition and the staff were great.

We played 5 october 2024 and had one of the first twillights. Tee-time 14.42 hour. At first we could not get a buggy. We shoud come back 10 minutes before teeing off. Later we did get a buggy earlier. The weather was beautiful. We were the last that could play 18 holes. After that it was dark.
The course is beautiful but difficult andvthe greens are fast. I lost two balls, that were stuck in top of the trees.

Played Pinhal several times before and love it, it is very tight with the trees hanging over the fairways and makes you think about every shot, lofted clubs under the trees are impossible. The course was in perfect condition. Again the staff were brilliant and went out of there way to make our experience brilliant, very attentive bar and restaurant staff. There were 9 of us and even though we had a large table in the sun after the game for a couple of beers they went out of their way to set up another full table for us in the shade for us to eat our meal. Brilliant and would highly recommend and again will return as soon as possible.

Good golf course played many times... Buggies now at 60€ , Unfortunately we had 2 so called golfers in front of us in a group of 4 who took 3 shots to reach the fairway and looked as if they had a few. We were delayed on every hole with these clowns who many times nearly drove the buggy on the green. Added to this they were forgetting clubs all round the course. It took us 5 hours to play and the course marshal just drove around passing the time away.
They need to get their act together...Golf is not cheap in Portugal and at 10€ per hole (Including Buggy) it should be enjoyable, The Starter was very pleasant but should have questioned these guys ability to play.
