Vila Sol Golf Course is a truly, Championship golf course, well established in the Algarve. 27 Holes , Prime and Challenge been the original 18 holes , where the the Portuguese Open was played in 1992 and 1993. Prestige are the latest 9 holes that are completing this wonderful full 27 holes golf course, witch allows 3 different Combinations Prime/Challenge, Challenge/Prestige and Prestige/Prime. Lovely course which was suggested by Simon at Tee Times. We couldnt find many reviews prior to travelling, so were a little apprehensive prior to going. The couse was fantastic and in great condition. We had pre-booked buggies, however none were available so had to use trolleys. This did not affectthe day in anyway. We were held up a little with slow play however had plenty of time to get around. Loved every hole. Beer buggies was frequent too ;)

Great course which seemed fairly quiet when we teed off at 15.00 on a Wednesday. Challenging course with fairly tight tree lined fairways, but good condition and a really enjoyable round

*Dogleg - Good selection on the original 18
*Tree Lined - Heavily with Umbrella Pines
*Buggy Recommended - Only if essential
*Water hazards - Few on all groups of 9 holes
*Parkland - Totally
*Signature Hole - 7th on the original front 9
*Comments - Very good course, always in demand.
