Ribagolfe I, is located 30 minutes drive east of Lisbon city centre, set within a forest of cork oak trees and the design makes full use of the sweeping undulations of the site, providing many spectacular golf holes across valleys and lakes. You can be sure that you will be surrounded by nothing but nature.|Ribagolfe I, has been created as a potential tournament venue. The fairly narrow fairway corridors through the cork oaks place the emphasis on accurate shot-making rather than length while large bunkers increase the challenge, particularly around the greens. Ribagolf is considered to be a sensational golf course, in which the natural element becomes an important part of the game and provides fresh challenges for even the most demanding of golfers.

More difficult than Oak course. Funny designe but poor maintenance

Great layout, greens excellent, but Wild Boar damage around the greens and fairways needs to be addressed daily.
Most bunkers also need some attention as the sand was very compacted, may be the rain but some hadn't been raked for a long time.
Staff were excellent, and because it's a bit out of the way it's never very busy.
Would recommend a visit here

Wenn jemand im Großraum Lissabon Golfurlab macht, und keine „gehobenen“ Ansprüche an eine Golfanlage hat, und völlig entspannt spielen möchte, der ist hier bestens aufgehoben. In der Wochen ist der Platz praktisch leer. Heute Startzeit 11:30 Uhr. Anhand der geparkten Autos vor dem Sekretariat schätze ich das es etwa 5 Flights unterwegs waren. Auf zwei 18 Loch Plätzen. Wir kommen seid 2007 hier her. Es ist immer leer.
Fairways sehr breit und gut gepflegt (Nachsatz folgt). Die Grüns ebenfalls groß und im top Zustand.
Mann hat das Gefühl allein auf dem Platz zu sein.
Die Bunker könnten neue Füllung vertragen.
Nachsatz:
Nachts spielen ab und zu Wildschweine Golf auf dem Platz. Leider vergessen Sie die Divots zurückzulegen.
Die Greenkeeper tun aber Ihr bestes.

If you're on a golf holiday in the greater Lisbon area and don't have any "high" expectations of a golf course and want to play in a completely relaxed manner, this is the place for you. The course is practically empty during the week. Today's start time is 11.30 am. Judging by the cars parked in front of the secretary's office, I estimate that there were about 5 flights on the course. On two 18-hole courses. We've been coming here since 2007. It's always empty.
Fairways very wide and well maintained (postscript to follow). The greens are also large and in top condition.
You have the feeling of being alone on the course.
The bunkers could do with filling.
Postscript:
At night, wild boars occasionally play golf on the course. Unfortunately, they forget to put the divots back.
But the greenkeepers do their best.
