My wife and I play the Penina courses regularly. The Resort course isn’t in the best of condition this year, wild boars enjoy “putting practice” just a bit too much, but the course remains challenging to score on and the overall experience of Penina is always pleasant and enjoyable! Penina golf and hotel.staff are some of the most pleasant and professional people you will meet on the Algarve!

Penina Resort, was enjoyable as always, but condition generally is the worst we’ve seen over the past 10 years, or so! Nice to be advised up front about the wild bore damage to 3 greens. It did cross our mind that given the general condition, and the 4 green’s animal damage, that the recent price increases are a little difficult to accept! But we like the 9 hole Resort Course and the friendly and helpful staff!
