One of our favourites to visit over the last ten years, fantastic layout. We felt that the quality of the fairways had slipped some 3 or 4 years ago but this year they are showing signs of getting back to their best, keep it up. Although a popular choice for golfers we were pleased that it did not seem quite as busy as we have experienced in the past. Lovely days golf.

Played in the rain and the had just cut the grass – it was impossible to hit anything from the rough or fairway due to wet cut grass sticking to ball clubs, shoes. Greens were not ponding and the course was generally in good condition. Second time we played the weather was great and we enjoyed the course better. However, the well-draining greens were abused and impossible to properly put on (maybe because of wet conditions and patrons lack of attention to fixing the ball marks).

It’s still a lovely course, but………..The tees were terrible; they keep the space between the markers too small and for too long, so on many holes you’re standing in mud. Some of the greens are diseased, so it’s like putting across a field. They’ve obviously had lots of rain, but the drainage has to be improved, around both tees and greens. If you’re going to charge top prices, you really should look after the course better.

Didn't think the course lived up to its reputation. Driving range was very limited. Entrance was strange with parking not straight forward. Course was old fashioned and fiddly.

Challenging, majestic and beautiful layout in the mountains. Brilliant design but in need of some TLC. The greens were mottled and not a patch on Aroeira or Quita do Peru. They rely on robots to cut the fairways - which were in excellent Condition but the bunkers looked like they hadn’t been raked for days and their edges unstrimmed for weeks. Not a greenkeeper in sight all day and it shows. Friendly reception. I’d like to go back when there wasn’t a 60kph wind blowing!

Course layout is beautifully designed into the forest and hills below the Sintra Mountains. Only reason I didn’t give it a 10 is the greens are dealing with a fungus that makes them rather bumpy and dry in some spots.

Course condition after rain very poor, we booked a buggy in advance, but they don't tell us that we have to stay on the path way all the time. So we should better walk an use a electric trolley. But nobody talked to us.

This golf course is one of the most beautiful and difficult in the Cascais region. It is in very good condition. It was a challenge to play it, which was a lot of fun to accept. The staff are very friendly, the clubhouse is very, perhaps overly elegant and therefore the drinks are probably far too expensive - you don't have to have that after a strenuous game of golf!
