Nice and quite easy cousre through the valley - but beware of the bunkers...sometimes quite deep on the fairways and hard with less sand. Greens very good - create much spin but not too fast. Good beer supply ont the round :-) Good practice area. Most tee boxes were more to the front - always double check distance!

Was in much better condition than the last time I played it. Obviously watering is conditional and it has been receiving watering so was in good condition. The greens had a great covering of grass but were very slow. Staff as usual were friendly and professional. All in all a good experience

Course was in great condition. Lush and green grass not burnt like last time i played late 2021. Greens were in amazing condition like carpets and quick. Played and had buggies but played with 2 guys in there 70’s and a guy with a prosthetic leg so was hard for them at times as couldnt drive on some holes and had to park the buggy and walk to the other side of fairway or in the rough. This made the rounds longer and backed up groups. Totally understand trying to keep the course in good condition but would be so much easier if there were more access on holes.

Enjoyed playing Morgado again with the greens in excellent condition - and fast! Areas around the tees appear untidy but the condition of the fairways and first cut were very good. We forgot just how long some of the walks were between holes, especially on the back nine, which added to the time to play 18 holes but, starting at 14:06, we still completed our round in just over 4 hours.

Morgado Golf Course impressed us during our round on Wednesday, particularly given the challenging conditions of heat and limited water. The greens were in excellent shape, while the fairways and tee boxes were well-maintained, presenting the course nicely. Continuous improvements are evident, with efforts to enhance and decorate the extensive areas surrounding the course. The plantation of native plants and the meticulous cleaning of waste areas have significantly enhanced the visual appeal and overall ambiance. However, there was a noticeable lapse in attention to some commercial aspects, such as the absence of the buggy bar on such a hot day, with no prior notice given. This is an easily fixable issue, but it did impact the experience, making it an 8 out of 10 rather than a perfect score.

Beautiful setting & course with lovely wide fairways....ideal for the not so skilled golfer! Greens were like carpet. Clubhouse Okay & food was tasty. However, a long winding driveway made for a depressing first impression as there were many large drab unfinished, run down apartments on the approach. Many of these could also be seen as you made your way around the golf course. Having a meal afterwards overlooking the course your eye is yet again taken with a very sad looking incomplete structure.....pity. I would still recommend the course itself as it is very well maintained.

We had three really enjoyable rounds at Morgado. The course was in good condition, especially the greens which were true. The tee boxes were rather worn, though. My only other criticism is that there needs to be a course marshal out more regularly. We were behind an incredibly slow four ball who held us up on every hole and yet did not let us through.

Fairways and greens excellent. Main problem is length of grass in front of and to the side of the fairways. Difficult to find balls sitting down in the grass and at this time of year the grass is very wet as well as long making it difficult to play out of. Overall though very enjoyable.

Morgado is a good test of golf. A gentle introduction on the front nine which is an easy flat walk. The back nine does have several hills and some very interesting holes. The course was in good condition but did have some wet patches due to the amount of rain in the area. The only real down side was the greens were not as slick as normal as they were slightly long. But still ran true.

The greens were fast and good, bunkers in very good condition. The front 9 holes were rather disappointing and certainly more interesting back 9. Tee boxes very poor, one on course toilet facility locked, the other on the back 9 not in a good state. Shame about the derelict partially completed buildings around the courses and overall it did not live up to expectations. The Starter was very friendly. Buggies do not have GPS which was a bit of a surprise for this course.

Played Morgado in January 2024, in a very stiff breeze, which made the front 9 a challenge, although the fairways are fairly generous. Course was in good condition, particularly the greens. Club house is very good with a veranda over looking the course.
