I like Laranjal but it is always a problem with the first few holes. This time we were near the end of the field and it took 90 mins to play 3 holes. After that it did get moving but we were often waiting to play our shots. It was suggested that the field is split into 2 courses and I would be in favour of this particularly if then tee times were spaced out to maybe every 10 mins.

Very busy pm tee off. No big deal but we waited on EVERY shot for 14 holes then got told by a marshall to hurry up as it was getting dark !! We still waited on every shot till the end.

Very nice course and very playable , in all round good condition , staff really attentive, the course itself is not as tree lined as many Portuguese golf courses , only down side was getting some verbal abuse from a “roll up” group which was on the 1st tee “why are you playing in the middle of our roll up” and then again on hole 14 asking us to “hurry up” at this time we had been on course under 3hrs , finished the 18 in 4hr 10mins (with 1 of our 4ball walking) which are think is more than acceptable and not slow. Guess you can’t please some people.

Golf course and service from the staff were excellent, however it took over 5 hours for the round, 3 times there were 16 golfers on the same hole. There were no marshals speeding play up which completely affected our enjoyment of the experience

The holes flow like a soft roler coaster through the landscape - every hole is interesting.
Even in one of the last flights on the course, the greens were still in very good condition.
Lovely day of golf - only to busy.
Management should think about wider teetime periods.
Nevertheless the marshalls did a good job, but 5h20' is a long round of golf, even with flight memebers.

Far too slow as there were too many players on the course. They are send groups out every 8 minutes and it was packed. 5 hours 20 minutes is too long. Difficult to play well with so many stops. Course is excellent but too slow.

This was the 2nd time we have played Laranjal, and again thought it was great. As a venue it's not up there with the other courses played (Quinta South & Monte Rei) but the course itself is really good and a test. Would like to play it again as look back thinking about what would have been done differently as think you need to know the course to make the most of it.

Beautiful course. It is a pity there was a lot of greenskeepers work during the round almost on every hole. The other point is that there is not any rubbishbin o the whole course. Maybe it is temporary but still needs to be corrected. Otherwise great demanding course.

It was a beautiful course. Very wrll cared for and in immaculate condition. Worth the money. We were able to get an earlier tee time so my wife and I could play by ourselves so staff were very accommodating. Nice lounge area for drink and nibbles. Nice array of golf attire with the Laranjal logo.

Biggest problem with all of the Quinta Courses is the pace of play caused by tee times every 8 minutes. Very greedy from the owners in my opinion. Expect approx 5 hour rounds.

There was a Pro AM in front of us and their pace of play was not acceptable.
They were taking over 5 hours for their rounds and at no time did we see a Marshall.

Laranjal is now our favourite golf course in the Algarve from the lady at the check in to the starter on the 1st tee everything was perfect. The only negative would be 8 minutes per 4 ball tee time is very tight, when we got to the 2nd tee there were 2 groups on it almost 6 hours to play the 18 holes, but we will be back.

Laranjal is a very enjoyable course, kept in excellent condition and very playable. The service was very good and we had an enjoyable day. It was disappointing that some other players on the course had brought speakers with them and played loud music on the course, during the round. The course Marshall did get them to turn it off, but when the Marshall had gone they put it back on. The Marshall should be empowered to kick players off the course, especially when faced with such absurd behaviour.

Qualität Essen ungenügend. Stark erhöhte Preise. Wir werden den Platz nicht mehr buchen. -**- Golf course/course in excellent condition. Time management insufficient. Starting time was delayed by about 1 hour because a tournament was taking place.
Food quality insufficient. Highly increased prices. We will not be booking the course again.
