It's in fantastic condition, Fairways &Greens immaculate though I would say in my opinion it's not for those with a higher Hcap.if you don't keep yr ball on Fairways you'll loose it resulting in a penalty on a number of occasions.

good experience with good company… will come back here as the course plays harder than it seems and does provide for a great challenge. Only downside that the restaurant closed so early that we did not get a chance for dinner after the round.

We really like to play this course. All the people are very friendly and helpful.
Sadly, the driving range was closed. At hole no 1 there was a long queue of people waiting for the start. But afterwards on the course the waiting time was ok.
It's worth to make afterwards a stop at the restaurant, the sandwiches are excellent.

Out of the 5 courses we played, this was the least popular. On the positive side, the greens were the best we played, the lay out is also to be commended. On the downside however is the feeling that many good shots were penalised with balls often running into an unplayable position, or simply lost. Nobody expects bad shots not to be punished, but to hit fairways only to lose your ball felt unfair. I would also suggest that for high handicappers, this is not the best course to play.

A challenging round through wide valleys in the backcountry of Lagos. The fairways are bone dry, and the balls bounce heavily downhill—be careful. The tee boxes and greens were in very good condition. Unfortunately, this course was also very crowded, which resulted in a round time of 5 hours 15 minutes. The fact that the kitchen was closed for almost an hour after our extremely long round was absolutely unacceptable and unfortunately put a bad aftertaste on the day.

A fine course with helpful and friendly staff. However in my opinion it is more suited to lower handicap golfers ie <10, as any errant shot is generally lost.
Perhaps the club would allow used golf ball sales on the course as this would ease the pain of so many lost balls. We had a particularly tough day as it was very windy.

A challenging course which has narrower fairways than most courses in the area. It is a well designed course with a nice clubhouse. It was let down by the disappointing greens which were bumpy and inconsistent and some fairways were bare otherwise it would have scored higher than a 6/10. Accuracy and course management is the key.

Nice clubhouse, friendly staff and great layout of the course. The course conditions however, were not the best with bumpy and uneven greens and lots of ground under repair in the general area. The bunkers were good with new sand and they were well raked, though.

Driving Range is closed. (Small) Short game area and putting green are open. Tee boxes are hard, sometimes difficult to set a tee. Currently the fairways are dry and hard. Several small spots on the fairways with maintenance activities for improving the watering system. Greens are in good condition, hard and fast. With the current conditions of the fairways the course is not forgiving.
Overall, most of the fairways are narrow and the greens small.

Very friendly welcome, beautiful course (challenging at times due to unexpected run offs) but spoiled by very slow play (5 hour round) and rude group behind us. Would you walk onto your next tee (man to yellow, lady to red) and talk on your mobile phone while the previous players (us) were waiting to tee off? They did. Appalling.

Trotz der vorherigen Regenfälle war der Platz in einem hervorragenden Zustand und konnte problemlos mit Buggy bewältigt werden.
Auch die natürliche Umgebung war bemerkenswert, nicht aber die Spielzeit von deutlich über 5 Stunden für uns als 4er Flight. Man wünscht sich schon einen
engagierten Marshall, wenn der vorherige Flight bei gefühlt jeder 2 Bahn. geschlossen im Unterholz verschwindet, um einen Ball zu suchen - natürlich ohne Schläger,
dem man sich dann noch einmal auf den Weg macht.... Trotzdem, diesen Platz werden wir sicher auch in Zukunft spielen.
-**- Despite the previous rainfall, the course was in excellent condition and could easily be mastered with a buggy.
The natural surroundings were also remarkable, but not the playing time of well over 5 hours for us as a flight of 4. You really wish you had a
dedicated marshal when the previous flight disappears into the undergrowth at what felt like every 2nd hole to look for a ball - without a club, of course,
which you then set off again.... Nevertheless, we will certainly continue to play this course in the future.

A very challenging course where quality straight shot are rewarded. Distance is not a requirement but accuracy is. Restaurant was passable but would recommend other places to eat. Clubhouse is very nice, clean and the staff was excellent.

Wir haben wegen Starkregen unsere gebuchte Runde auf den 21.10. verschieben können. Es hat sich wieder gelohnt. Guter Platz mit erhöhtem Clubhaus, man hat einen schönen Rundblick in die Umgebung. Der Platz spielt sich zügig, manchmal verliert man einen guten Ball in den Dornenbüschen. Die Grüns waren recht schnell und spurtreu. Die Wege zu den nächsten Abschläge sind recht weit, daher ist ein Buggy empfehlenswert. Immer gerne wieder ! -**- Due to heavy rain, we were able to postpone our booked tour to 21 October. It was worth it again. Good course with an elevated clubhouse, you have a beautiful panoramic view of the surrounding area. The course plays quickly, sometimes you lose a good ball in the thorn bushes. The greens were quite fast and true to line. The distances to the next tees are quite long, so a buggy is recommended. Always happy to play again!

Course was in great condition and very enjoyable to play but needs active marshalling. The 10th tee had 7 groups on so either extra groups had been let out at 10 or a group had gone off the course for a drink/food. Either way this led to a lengthy delay for everyone who followed.

This course was in excellent condition with the greens being exceptional. Probably as good a greens I’ve ever played on. Very quick and very true. Difficult test of golf however due to some blind shots. Also a real pity we played behind two 5 balls using 3 buggies. Round was painfully slow and really spoilt the experience to be honest. Pity the course management allow this to happen. And my rating Will unfortunately rate my experience rather than the actual good quality of the course condition.

Nice course but had an altercation with a player. Also, stuck behind a 4-ball who blatently didn't understand about letting people through if they are looking for their balls. No marshall on the course to manage this.

Sehr schöner Platz, exzellente Grüns! Ruhiger Platz ohne Wartezeiten. Man muss aber unbedingt auf den Fairways liegen, ansonsten verschwindet jeder Ball in Hecken und Gebüschen. Beim 1. SPIEL mind. 8 Bälle weg.
Komme sehr gerne wieder - toller Platz!!! Gastronomie auch sehr gut - nur kein Steak bestellen! (Zäh) Burger und Risotto sehr zu empfehlen. -**- Very nice course, excellent greens! Quiet course with no waiting times. But you have to lie on the fairways, otherwise every ball disappears into hedges and bushes. At least 8 balls gone on the 1st GAME.
Would love to come back - great course!!! Catering also very good - just don't order a steak! (Tough) Burgers and risotto highly recommended.

Unfortunately Espiche had no buggy’s, as they were all booked out. The course was interesting but with some punishing cross sloops which swing even a good shot into trouble. Its certainly a course you need to play a few times understand the lines. Also they need water. It’s dry as a bone already.
From the works around the course they are putting in new irrigation, reclaimed treated I would guess. I think I will wait until this is working before I return but it is a good test, insane in places but a good test. ( I thought the days of 300 + yard drives were gone but no a 540 yard par 5 was reduced to a drive and 7 iron uphill.).

With Espiche being an hours drive from Vilamoura the teetime of 1.20 pm was to late. The pace was slow and as the course is challenging with people were looking for balls. By the 11th hole we realised we would not be finished until around 6.30pm and decided to quit. I would like to play Espiche again but it would need to be a teetime of between 11 and not later than 12. Also a shortage of buggies caused problems for some players.
