Chaparral Golf Club is an 18-hole “Parkland Forest” course, surrounded by a Mediterranean forest. The protected area enhances the typical beauty of the region, where the mountains meet the sea.

Quirky course but very challenging. Greens could have been better. Ladies tees were quite unacceptable. My wife struggled to access several tees. Pace of play very slow at 5hours 20 minutes was frustrating.

Many elevation changes, shotmakers’ course. Difficult overall with tight fairways through woods and meandering hills. Good service at the starter, driving range, check in. One to go back to.
