Nice course with good greens.Glad I had a buggy(which was 45euros) as there were some long walks from green to tee.8th hole was particularly tough into a strong headwind.Shame about the damage by the wild boars but did not spoil my enjoyment of the course.Had a drink after but no tables were available to sit inside which I wanted to do after being in the sun for what was a 5 hour round.

A wonderful course. I really enjoyed playing the very different, often challenging holes. Nicely shaped with beautiful views. I will come back and play it again. My advice is to take a buggy. I had planned to walk and was advised not to, which was the right decision.

Vandaag gespeeld op Boavista. Greens en fairway lagen er prima bij. Iedereen heeft wel eens een dag dat je wat minder speelt en dan ook steeds in de bunker terecht komt. Dat had ik vandaag. Deze bunkers zijn op Boavista dramatisch... De beste omschrijving is beton met een dun laagje stuifzand er over. Dus heel moeilijk om er uit te spelen en daardoor veel spelplezier weg. -**- Played today at Boavista. Greens and fairway looked fine. Everyone has a day sometimes when you play a bit less and then also keep ending up in the bunker. I had that today. These bunkers are dramatic at Boavista.... The best description is concrete with a thin layer of drifting sand over it. So very difficult to play out of and therefore a lot of gameplay gone.

We again really enjoyed our visit here and this was our fifth visit in recent tours. From the check-in to pre-round lunch and post-round beers we were treated very well by helpful friendly staff. The course itself was in good condition and the greens played true but were quite fast especially on the back nine. The course was also not too crowded which meant we could maintain good progress throughout our round. We'll be back!

Very good and enjoyable course, challenging, interesting, varied. The day we played there was a 2-3 club wind which gave it the feel of a links course, it's perhaps more exposed to the wind than most other Algarve courses.

The welcome at the club was perfect and efficient. Pick up of cart excellent, 1st tee excellent. Added to a group who were very friendly. Due to the shear capacity of the course with 4 balls everywhere the round took 5 hours and 15 mins. MarShalls were located here and there, some active, some busy on their phones. Course showing signs of over use with worn out tees and marked greens.
