Nice course but the tee boxes were not great. There were also no club house or resturant. However, a free shuttle bus to Aroeira 1 and friendly staff.
Richard Collins
Course is in good condition, slightly better design than #1.
Facilities are poor, portacabin for a clubhouse hidden away, you have to walk up the 18th hole to get to it after taking an age trying to find the spot.
The layout of the place was an afterthought.
Not sure I'd come back

Newly opened & maybe needed a few more weeks to finish off the tees, otherwise had a great time with not so may people booked & beautiful course.
Nick Jones
Very difficult to find the temporary starting point for this course. There are very few amenities there. Course its self is challenging, lots of water. Condition variable
Michael Werner Sutter
Nice course with inadequate infrastucure

We had the impression that, due to the works on the Aroeira I course during the last 6 months, the course lacked some maintenance which resulted in poor tee-boxes and average fairways. On the other hand, the greens were in good condition (with a few diseases here and there) and a lot of work has been and continues to be done to clear the small and larger bushes between the trees to make the course more 'open' and receptive to a recovation.ery shot.

The front 9 holes is prety boring, the back 9 was a bit better. Outside the fairways everything looked a bit messy/deteriorated. The clubhouse is a couple minutes drive.
Michael Rice
The course itself was in very good condition but clubhouse facilities were disappointing before and after the golf.
Tom McKeon
Really enjoyable golf course in a beautiful setting. Facilities a little sparse as the Challenge course is a long way from the main clubhouse. Staff extremely friendly & helpful.
Ian Belsham
Everyone helpful, course in good condition especially after heavy overnight rain.
David Bryant
Excellent golf course with lots of narrow fairways adding to the challenge. The challenge course is very far from the clubhouse meaning there is no easy place for a drink after the round is finished.
Ian Belsham
Course in good condition, everyone friendly and helpful.
Brian Herje
Nice Course with different challenges. Some tight fairways because of tall pine trees. We really enjoyed the pretty water hazards with thriving bird life. Good bunkers and respective greens.
Nick Jones
Lovely pine tree lined fairways, quite tight and challenging. The course is in great condition. Water hazards are a feature on many fairways .
Neil Sutton
It is indeed a challenging golf course. Good layout and demanding holes using water, doglegs and bunkering. Greens very true. We would say it is the better of the Aroeira courses (so slightly better than Pines Classic). Very slow play though as a 5 hour round due to number of people on the course. Driving range on site but no bar/restaurant. Only downside on the course was the number of noisy builders and gardeners at work at various houses around the course.
Nick Jones
Lovely challenging course as the name suggests. Lots of over water shots, that are unnerving for the player not used to a course with so many water hazards.
Joanne Lewis -Ryan
Challenging course set in an exclusive area of beautiful houses.
