Serena Golf Course
La Serena professional 18-hole, par-72 golf course is over 6,100 metres long and was constructed in accordance with rules and regulations of the European and United States Golf Association (EGA & USGA). It starts and ends in an area offering all facilities for practicing this favoured past time. You will find there the club house, pro shop and driving range. In addition, a golf school provides the opportunity to learn with experienced instructors.
La Serena Golf course is located right next to the Mar Menor. It encircles the 500 year old ''Torre del Rame'' which was originally built to keep watch for pirates who took refuge in the tranquil waters of the Mar Menor. Mainly flat, the golf course’s main difficulties are the prevailing Levante wind and the many water hazards that come into play in 16 of the 18 holes. The golf course, which is not overly long, has a traditional structure.

Polite and efficient in the Pro shop and on the first tee. The course was in good condition. It is not a course for beginners or high handicap players. Every hole was Challenging with water on 17 holes. Big advantage for the ladies!

Da ein Starkregentag drohte, haben wir mit Hilfe von Teetimes PT die Runde vorgezogen und noch nach Riquelme am gleichen Tag gespielt. Der Platz war die positive Überraschung für uns! Wir haben für diese 2 . Runde am Tag zwar Cart benutzt, aber er wäre problemlos zu laufen. Der Pflegezustand war gut und die Runde recht abwechselungsreich, dazu fair für alle Spielstärken. Wasserhindernisse und gut verteidigte Grüns waren stimmig angelegt und machten die Runde zu einem Vergnügen.
Ein Dank gilt auch dem Stuff für die unkomplizierte Umbuchung unter Zeitnot!

This was the second round on the course. It helps to know where hazards are as they are not always obvious. Excellent course design! I would appreciate next tee signs.

La Serena was a nice course, everything was good. Nice fairways and greens and club house is nice and personel are friendly.
