La Galiana Golf Course
La Galiana golf course has been designed by Felipe Rodriguez from Moon Masters, in partnership with the brothers Santi, Salva and Kiko Luna.
The result is a golf course buried in a valley with wide and well defined fairways, with some spectacular views, all in total integration with nature.
La Galiana golf course offers 6 diferent teeing boxes in each golf hole for Professionals, Gentlemen and Ladies, with spacious greens flanked by strategically positioned sand bunkers or lakes (10 in the entire golf course), which will force golf players to be accurate with the strokes approaching the green.
The golf course has spacious tracks for buggies and you can drive on the fairways, observing the driving tees and surrounding areas of the green.
But it is not only the beautiful landscape that is important at La Galiana golf course, together with the planting of over 5,000 indigenous species, the course has been built using the best means available, and an example is the modern irrigation system it has, the collection and reuse of rainwater using a sophisticated drainage system, which will allow keeping water consumption to a minimum.

Spectacular golf course built in the mountains. Amazing layout with lots of elevation changes.
Long grass around greenside was hard to get out of.
Course in excellent condition.
Good practice facilities near clubhouse.
Was definitely worth the drive up from Calpe. Will return in the future.

Lovely course with spectacular views, you need a buggy, unfortunately there were none available when we arrived and pull trollies are extremely hard work because of the steep terrain and long walks between greens and tees in many cases, particularly when you are 71! The only issue was slow play because of one group about 3 ahead of us. No sign of any Marshalls. Food and service at the clubhouse good. I would have loved a drinks cart on the way round.
