The course is not easy And rather long. Playing time of 4.30 hours is not exceptional. The fairways are never flat, good positioning of tee shot is very important. Greens are tough. Putting downhill is extremely difficult.

Some lovely holes and the greens were in great condition. Was very windy which made it a great challenge. Glad buggies are included, you really wouldn't want to walk this one. Warm welcome and good food afterwards as well. Make sure you give yourself an extra half hour to look round the shop, it's huge!

We liked the course, not long, but tricky. Good tees and fairways. Greens slow and therefore difficult to read. The pro shop is the best we’ve ever experienced, many good brands and great choice! Take good time to visit the shop.

Great course with well laid out holes. My only complaint was at the 10th hole we were asked by a marshall to speed up our play as we were apparently 15 minutes behind schedule. I understand the need to keep things moving but there was no one directly behind us and we weren't holding anyone up.

Great course and excellent condition, but the 18th has been shortened to a par 4 bringing the quarry into play off the tee. We had a good twoball to play with the 2 of us. Great shop, and bar, overlooking the AP7 down to the sea with spectacular views.

Good facilities at this course, practice range , pro shop, restaurant and golf store really impressive. Unfortunately this experience did not continue onto the golf course. GPS did not work in either of our buggies and litter left in one of them was disappointing. The course is a challenging layout and playing it for the first time could have been made easier if there had been distances showing on the GPS. The greens were ok apart from numerous unrepaired pitch marks. The fairways were the worst I’ve played on in over 25 years golfing in the Costa del Sol. Some of the fairways had more weeds on them than grass and the eighteenth hole was really poor as was that green. Was looking forward to playing this course for the first time, what a let down it was , I’m afraid I could not recommend this course to anyone.

A course with spectacular views in a good condition. You will enjoy the round more, if you know the target points of your teeshots and strokes. With the fair rate incl. buggy you should play this course more than one time in a holiday. Another reason to come back is the biggest pro shop I ever have seen.

We have played at Calanova before and are already thinking about coming back to play here in July 2023. The course was in very good condition and the weather was also very good. There are 2 very large floors of shopping for everything golf related. The bar has spectacular views looking down on the course and then to the sea. The bar staff and shop assistants were all very welcoming and very helpful. The caddymaster was also extremely helpful. A great experience.

Enjoyable course with plenty of variety. Great clubhouse facilities including massive golf store. Some good views although main roads close by. Greens very soft, patchy & slow but may be time of year. Overall recommended & would play again.

First of all the course did not open until 7.45am so no chance of warm-up or putting green, which was disappointing. Pro Shop was excellent - well stocked and good prices. Course looked great but it was tough. Greens way too fast as they cut them real low. Need to be a very good player too play here.

Calanova Golf war in diesem Jahr bei bestem Wetter wieder ein Genuß. Mit seinen herrlichen Ausblicken bis zum Meer und seinen starken Gefällen, Steigungen und Schräglagen ist er schon so was wie ein Gebirgsplatz. Deshalb wird er zu Recht nur mit Buggy angeboten. Trotzdem ist er fair und für alle Spielstärken geeignet. Man sollte ruhig etwas mehr Zeit einplanen, denn ein sensationell großer und preiswerter Golfshop, sowie eine gute Restauration mit großer Terrasse sind ein zusätzlicher Anreiz, Calanova auszuwählen.

Interesting and modern course. Some difficult holes. Perfect fairways. Greens seem to have different types of grass. -Some are slower. The worst Bermuda rough I’ve ever played. So stay on the fairway and you will have a good day with golf.

Course was in excellent condition. Only slight problem was a mix up in tee times which resulted in an extra 2 ball being pushed in front of the 3 ball playing in front of us. Our tee time was thus 15 minutes late, and of course playing as a 4 ball we did not keep up with those in front of us, and we were pushed all the time by those behind us trying to make up the initial delay!!

Calanova haben wir zum dritten mal gespielt. Angesichts des sehr regenreichen März waren die Spielbahnen ganz überwiegend sehr gut zu spielen und nur sehr geringe nässebedingte Probleme zu verzeichnen. Lediglich die Carts mussten auf den Wegen bleiben. Ein Vergnügen wie immer mit tollen Aussichten und abwechselungsreichen Bahnen.

Ein gepflegter Platz mit beeindruckenden Aussichten bis zum Meer - auch von der Clubhausterrasse.. Faire, aber nicht leichte Bahnen für alle Spielstärken, immer auch zu berücksichtigende Schräglagen und Gefälle. Große, im Februar etwas schadhafte Grüns. Buggys obligatorisch und das ist auch gut so. Incl. Buggys ein gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis - auch im Rstaurant.

Ein Golfcourse, der mich sehr positiv überrascht hat. Sehr freundliches Personal in allen Bereichen. Meist offene, aber herausfordernde Bahnen , gut gepflegt mit tollen Aussichten. Schilder an den Abschlägen könnten hilfreich sein. Ein Buggy ist unverzichtbar und deshalb obligatorisch. Gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Immer wieder gerne.
