I found the course much improved since the last time I played there, and the layout, which remained substantially unchanged, appeared very fun and competitive, allowing even my partner players who were not particularly gifted to have fun. Good golf course to spend some hours having fun !

Everything from TEETIMES.PT was first class - thank you. Amarilla golf course was in good condition, especially the fairways and greens. It included several ‘showstopper’ views and holes. We liked also the relaxed, friendly clubhouse atmosphere. John

Superb staff all very accommodating - course is very good and challenging - unfortunately we has a week when a lot of work was being done to the greens so they were not in a very good condition but I don't think this is the norm at this course. Excellent value for the price and buggy would certainly go again. Would have been a 10 if the greens were as they are normally - staff also at Tee Time also very accommodating and helpful - thanks Raquel

I should start with the fact that the course is lovely and immaculately kept. Problems were I arrived to find a huge group of members on the first tee at my tee off time. It was a competition day and teeing off in the middle of lots of 4 balls would have made my round very slow and would break up traditional well established groupings. The starter went up to the group and mentioned that I had a booked tee time and their proposal was I should start on the 4th hole to be ahead of them and then play holes 1-3 at the end. This isn’t great but I accepted this and went to 4th. I then played 15 lovely holes and went back round to the first hole. Hit 3 shots up towards the green to find the green had completely been hollow tinned and there was no putting surface at all. This was only 11.00am. I therefore couldn’t play on this hole and picked my ball up. I finished on hole 3. As I started with, the course is lovely and I received a great welcome from the course staff and had lovely food and drink afterwards, but if it was my club and members seem to be able to do what they want despite external bookings being made (which bring valuable money in for their club / keeps their green fees down etc), I would be embarrassed. It didn’t spoil my day and I would definitely go back, but it didn’t seem right when I had paid a lot of money to be there. I mentioned the first green when I got in to the starter and she said nobody plays after that time so they did the works then, but they knew I was out there and that because of the members, I hadn’t played the hole.

Lovely course - front 9 quite tight, back 9 a little more open but still a challenge….certainly need to pick your way round the course. Holes down by the marina very nice - par 3 especially. Nice clubhouse - quick, friendly service and good value. Would recommend Amarilla

Très beau parcours avec de superbes vues sur la mer ou le Teide , dessin très interessant avec passage de bras de mer pour un joli par 3 , malheureusement les fairways étaient en mauvais état, mais cela ne gênait pas trop le jeu. -**- Very nice course with superb views of the sea or the Teide, very interesting design with passage of arm of the sea for a nice par 3, unfortunately the fairways were in poor condition, but it did not hinder the game too much.

Average at best. Apart from the 2 par 3 signature holes(8 and 15) the rest of the course is nothing special for the high cost green fees. The course winds through holiday properties and there is a lot of construction going on. Probably wouldn’t play here again.

The course was not too busy, so we got around quickly. I paid for twilight golf, but it was quiet, so they let us out earlier. Greens very fast, but a little crabby in places. This did not however, spoil our experience
