Alhama golf course is the highest ranked of Nicklaus golf trail in Spain and choosed to be is signature golf course . It is a terrific and energizing test for golfers of all levels. The golf course goes up against a characteristic tough appearance as the undulating fairways wind their way through the local Murcia scene to undulating, manicured and fantastic greens. The magnificence of the greens are further upgraded with four extensive lakes, sensational bunkering, and impeccably manicured playing conditions. In spite of the fairways being in fairly poor condition it was possible to have a very enjoyable 18 holes as the views remain tremendous, not busy and the greens decent

We played the Alhama Signature course on Tuesday 26th of September 2023. We were concerned with some of the reviews we had seen regarding the condition of the course. We need not have worried, the course was in excellent condition, especially the tees and greens. Some areas of fairway are still recovering from some damage, but this was minimal and the fairways look as though they will be in great shape very soon. We really enjoyed the course which is interesting & challenging.
We stopped for food and a drink after golf and the food was outstanding. The club house is not the best looking but the food and hospitality was top notch. We will be making this our go to local course when we play in Spain.

The golf course is good but the experience was totally spoilt by an over zealous security who on arrival refused us entry unless we allowed her to photograph a driving licence. Recipe for fraud. She was then very rude and insisted the we speak to her in Spanish. The whole experience of the golf was spoilt and when we complained to the reception the answer was oh yes we have trouble to. Get a grip

Probably one of the best courses in Spain and certainly in this area. Not for those who want a gentle hack round, you are tested on every shot. Course is best during winter months but excellent at any time of year.

Starting today, 07/11, at Alhama Signature we will be verti-cutting the greens. We will also be reseeding some of the tee boxes. Some hole will have the yellow tees forward and others may have the red tees further back. Just wanted to inform you of the maintenance happening at Alhama this week.
