Anfi Tauro is an 18-hole Championship Golf Course Challenge with a cutting edge design. Opened in 2007, the championship golf course at Anfi Tauro Golf covers a demanding terrain in excess of 650,000m². The Arizona style course has been designed by worldrenowned golf course designers von Hagge, Smelek and Baril. Acclaimed for their challenging and innovative golf courses, they have designed more than 250 golf courses on all five continents including the Doral Country Club in Florida, the Costa Resort in California and the Horai Club in Japan. The numerous tees on the course will offer all level players a challenging and entertaining game. (...)
The Maspalomas Golf Course is surrounded by the Natural Park of the Dunes of Maspalomas, a feature that sets its mark on the golf course design, created by Mackenzie Ross. Flat and very long, with long, wide streets, the proximity of the sea and the breeze make the tour of this area into a pleasant experience, even in the hottest days of summer, thanks to the cooling influence of the wind. The golf course, which has held international events, has 18 holes par 73. (...)
Meloneras Golf Course was designed by Ron Kirby and opened in June 2006, the sixth course to arrive in Gran Canaria and the first built by the Lopesan Hotel Group. It hosted the Spanish PGA Championship the following year, and in 2021 staged the Gran Canaria Lopesan Open on the European Tour. The course sits on the island's south coast at Meloneras Bay, with the Canary mountains inland and the harbour of Pasito Blanco along the shore. The front nine opens gently, a forgiving par four easing golfers into the round before the par-3 3rd asks for a full carry over a reservoir. The back nine turns for the coast, and this is where the course earns its reputation: a dogleg par-4 11th leads into the clifftop par-3 12th, and the greens from the 13th through to the 16th sit close enough to the water to feel part of it. Four tees per hole keep the challenge fair across the handicap range. Facilities include a driving range, golf academy, clubhouse with pro shop and restaurant, and GPS-equipped buggies for the longer walks between holes. Guests return to Meloneras for its conditioning as much as its views, and tee times here go quickly in season. Book early to secure your round. (...)
