Son Antem East Golf Course was designed by Francisco López Segalés and opened in 1994, the older of the two 18-hole courses at the Son Antem resort near Llucmajor. Built on a former hunting estate, the course keeps much of that land's original character, and wildlife is genuinely abundant throughout the round. The layout is built to ease players in: wide, forgiving fairways and flat, even greens make it a natural choice for beginners and mid-handicappers, though the finish asks more of stronger players. The par-4 15th is the toughest hole on the card, its second shot needing to carry water onto a compact green. Son Antem West Golf Course was designed by Francisco López Segalés and opened in September 2001, six years after its sister course, Son Antem East. Set against the backdrop of the Randa mountain, it's the tougher and more championship-focused of the resort's two 18-hole layouts. The par-72 course plays through native woodland and gently sloping open countryside, with tight fairways and undulating greens demanding more precision than the East course asks for. Three lakes come into play across five holes, and the par-4 6th stands out as the test to beat: a dogleg left that calls for an accurate second shot over an undulating approach. Wildlife including hawks, grouse and rabbits is a regular sight across the grounds. Facilities include a driving range, golf academy, locker rooms and a putting green.
