Toller Platz in top gepflegtem Zustand. Greens sind schnell und spurtreu. Clubhaus und Restaurant mit sehr freundlichem Service. Zweimal mit Vouchers von teetimes.pt hier gespielt. Would not play again. Course poor condition. Very wet and long grass. Greens in poor condition. Signage on some holes not clear and directions. Too many par 3 holes. The bunkers were big and lots of them, I suppose to make the course play a little more difficult. Most bunkers were not raked as there was no rake to use. The complete club needs serious attention. Nice course, not the best in the area. Ladies Tee box need attention, very uneven and long thick grass. The greens were very slow.

Montecastillo Golf Course is a Jack Nicklaus design, one of the most popular golf resorts in the world and it hosted the Volvo Masters Andalucia for five consecutive years beginning in 1997 when Lee Westwood won the event. From holes 5 to 13, the design of the 2001 course can be observed; from hole 10 onwards, the course extends over the cliff and offers panoramic ocean vistas. La Estancia Golf course was designated before as Melia Sanct Petri. The course was designed by the Dutch architect Alan Rijks and is his first work in Spain. The integration of the links with the protected natural parkland makes it a beautiful and entertaining Par 72 golf course.The hazards and watery chalenges are four brooks and three lakes. The hole 9 has one of the lakes just before the green that will make it a very interesting barrier to cross over. The other lake threatens a little on the right hand side of hole 4 and hole 15.
