Second time playing here and will be coming again for sure. The staff are amazing, the practice facilities are next level with range balls included and trackman on every bay. The starter has a personalised metal bag tag for every player. The course is in fantastic condition with greens teams raking bunkers all over the place and marshalls on the course to check everything is going ok and pace of play is good. The new clubhouse is also fantastic as is the food. Probably not going to be your cheapest round in the area, but absolutely worth it.

Excellent and well managed course. Facilities are first class as is the service from the moment you arrive and until you leave. The staff at the pro shop provided an excellent overview of the course, facilities etc. Trackmans have been installed on the driving range, complimentary coffee at the first tee.
Some feel the Green fees high, however I believe they are commensurate with the experience provided.

The best course we've played in the Algarve so far (11 so far). Everything seems a bit quieter and more beautiful. The clubhouse is elegant but rather simple. The staff greets guests at the parking lot and truly tries to anticipate their every need. The driving range offers free balls arranged in pyramids and a Trackman for every lane! At tee 1, you receive your score card and personalized Old Course bag tag. The fairways are beautifully laid out, and you don't miss the sea and cliffs at all on this course. The greens are nice and firm and the fastest we've played here so far. You should be in good shape, as there are quite a few elevation changes to overcome (if you don't use a buggy). After the round, we were greeted by staff at the 18th green, who presented us with a certificate for a successful day. The caddy master gave us a wet towel to refresh ourselves. We rounded off the day on the small but lovely terrace with a steak sandwich and a burger. Excellent!!!

Course and overall facilities have gone through a significant programme of improvement since we were last there in 2021. It was in great condition, the trees have been trimmed so you can see more of the course and the driving range facilities are excellent. Great course returned to its former glory.

From start to finish the experience was amazing, we were greeted in the car park and our clubs were escorted to our buggy. The range with the track man was fantastic. The course was in amazing condition albeit the greens were very quick. Slight complaint would be that our clubs were offered to be cleaned but after a couple of drinks in the bar we went to collect our clubs and they weren’t clean but it didn’t ruin the day in anyway. Would recommend anyone to play.

I've been lucky enough to play this course many times over the past few years but its now been upgraded and its better than ever. From the greeting when your car arrives at reception, to your clubs carried to the buggies, water stations on the course, cold towels when you complete the round, clubhouse, bar, terrace, pro shop and restaurant have all have a face lift. Course investment has seen improved cart paths, lower limbs removed on trees and bunker upgrades. Back to being the best course in Vilamoura - brilliant.

Tee times changed to 12 minute intervals which mostly avoided hold ups. Course in great condition. Service good but not quite as good as when played last year. In conclusion felt it was a little too expensive and would choose alternatives in the future.

Wow! They have spent plenty of skilled time & money in preparing the course for the 2025 Golf Season! Presentation was superb. Tees, carpet fairways & true greens. As mid handicap (14.0) golfers we really enjoyed the test of this course. More expensive than other nice local courses but worth it. Very friendly & helpful staff in every department. A highly recommended visit!!

Excellent Course in Great condition, Limited facilities due to renovations yet still charge rate of 194€ per person, (Exludes cost of €30 each for Buggy) Vilamoura needs to be careful they do not price themselves out of the market if not already done.... Volume of regular visitor golfers shrinking each year and when they go elsewhere it is difficult to bring them back.

From start to finish we had friendly reception from staff at reception and bar. In spite of the clubhouse renovation the temporary setup was more than adequate and food and drink service was excellent. The course was in excellent condition and remains a favourite.

Great golf course in excellent condition. Our party played it last year and wanted to come back for another go. A bit of refurbishment going on, including the clubhouse, but that didn't cause much of an issue. The staff were great apart from the ''jobs worth'' course marshall. Our shuttle buses, arranged by our Dom Pedro hotel, were very late which meant we arrived virtually on our tee time. We had to book shuttles 1hr 30 mins before tee time and were told they would be 35/40 mins. Turned up 1hr 10 mins later. We therefore had to rush around and teed off slightly late. We then had the marshall tell us we were behind time. Seemed ignorant to the issue when told and part spoiled the experience. Very disappointing. Lower rating due to this.

After being advised by Tee Times maintenance work had take longer due to the dry summer we found the course in good condition compared to other courses that we have recently played, a couple of greens were still recovering (especially the first). The clubhouse is being refurbished but the temporary facilities are fine and all the staff excellent. A very enjoyable round.

Superb course, all natural, no tricks. Decent condition. A few problems with some areas on tbe Greens but reception had warned in advance.
Great customer service, with Club being upfront about greens and apologies for some temp services due to clubhouse rebuild. Reduced buggy rates and free drink on buggy bar to compensate.
Other clubs in area take note on how to treat paying customer (Palmares!!)

The staff, authentic older facilities, and quality of the course for sure take the #1 golf course in Portugal away from Monte Rei. The only thing that we did not like was that the holes are very close together so you always have someone around chatting. Also, sadly they were reconstructing the roads and cutting trees which disrupts the play quite heavily and there was no acknowledgement from the course that would compensate for it.

The ranger really need to speed up play group ahead we’re a hole behind and I have no problem them hitting it 20 yards off tee every hole but we should have been let play thur .
